Now that you have a whole month of extra time to finish your yearbook April may seem far away. But the best recipe for a stress-free yearbook season is not to wait until the last minute. Now is the time to start making your database corrections, request Yearbook Order Envelopes and begin to flow your panel pages. Do yourself a huge favor and start (and finish) your book ahead of schedule.

Here are some tips for a stress-free Yearbook season:

• Plan out your pages before you start – Add a temporary text box/label to every page with what it will be used for. For example: “Mrs. Smith’s 5th Grade” or “Teams & Clubs, Chorus and Band”
• Make ALL of your database corrections before you flow your panel pages – This helps speed up the flowing process.
• Finish your yearbook well ahead of schedule – This will allow you to take your time before the Final Deadline in April and make those fantastic final touches. And not to mention more time to make corrections and catch any mistakes!
• Schedule a meeting before the busy season – Right now is the prime time for me to schedule training sessions. Once March hits it’s much more difficult for us to work between the hectic Spring school schedule, but of course, I am always here for you
